Is there such a thing as a squirrel proof bird feeder?

I have seen them at the pet store, so yes you can get them.Is there such a thing as a squirrel proof bird feeder?
Rub Vaseline on the pole holding the feeder so they can't climb up.Is there such a thing as a squirrel proof bird feeder?
not really, lol. every time they make a squirrel proof bird feeder, nature makes a better squirrel.

my retired dad likes to sprinkle seads on the driveway couple of times a day so the squirrel has to walk around and gather them slowly, giving the birds more time to pick them up from around the squirrel.

at one point he nailed a dish onto a platter and set that on a very high metal pole so that squirrels can't jump on it or climb on it, but they found a way to climb or jump up after about 6 months.
There are all kinds. Try the link below for more info.
Who cares. Even if their was, just let the poor squirrel get a share too. :(

There is but the only one I've seen spins really fast and usually the squirrel gets hurt in the end. I don't think it's worth the chance. But maybe there is another one out there that won't hurt the squirrel. I know some people don't care, but I do, I just don't think it's right.
Squirrels are determined %26amp; greedy little creatures.

They just take the bird seed %26amp; bury it.

First it would have to be of all metal construction;

mounted away from any tree branches in jumping distance.

Then you'd need a baffle on the mounting pole.

I put a separate squirrel feeder with peanuts in it.

Then we saw a Blue Jay lifting the lid %26amp; eating them.
Yes there is. Here's a link with lots of different designs that are all squirrel proof.
