How to make a squirrel feeder without using a tree?

I don't have trees near my home, but I would love to feed the squirrels. All the suggestions I've read include using a tree. What do you suggest? Thank you.How to make a squirrel feeder without using a tree?
If you are interested in feeding the squirrels you can hang a feeder from your house, you can just put the food outside in a pile he will eat it, either way the birds are going to get some of it and if on the ground the they will get it too along with the rabbits. But if you don't mind the other critters each method is ok. You can hang a hook from your house or from a shed and place the feeder on that. How to make a squirrel feeder without using a tree?
A squirrel feeder can be as simple as a pile of corn, peanuts or other food placed on the ground or as elaborate as you want to make it. A rather simple feeder is a nail driven through a piece of wood and used to hold a full ear of corn. The feeder can be attached to a fence post, hand rail or even the side of a house. The ears of corn for these can be grown in your garden or purchased just for this purpose as dried corn at most stores that have a garden center. If all else fails you can buy peanuts and spread them around on the ground; the squirrels will find them and you can watch from somewhere close by.

Good luck and enjoy!
Actually, they make feeders specifically to meet your need. You can get them on poles (like this one at http://www.acehardware.com/product/index鈥?/a> or attached to brackets (http://www.backyardbird.com/wl13107.html鈥?/a>

To feed squirrels modify a bird feeder to remove any predator shield (usually in the form of a disk that sits below the feeder).

Good luck! Squirrels need friends.
Build a feeding table. Its like a table but, instead of a table top staple a screen to the under side of the frame and place the feed on top
A bag of crimped oats works good too, Corn, bird seed, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, sunflower seeds.
You might be able to hang one from a Sheppard鈥檚 hook.
